Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable (AP)
* Process invoices via OCR software and Peppol, and follow up on automated payment batches.
* Execute manual payments to suppliers.
* Resolve payment issues and communicate proactively with suppliers.
* Verify invoices and support the approval process for payments.
Accounts Receivable (AR)
* Post incoming payments and reconcile them against sales transactions.
* Allocate payments to customers, even when invoices are not automatically matched.
* Manage receivables and ensure timely collection of customer payments.
* Maintain T-accounts related to payment service providers.
* Handle credit notes and direct debit
* Prepare monthly financial reports
General / Team Support
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
* Support colleagues within the Finance team as needed.
* Embrace, test, and implement new technologies and processes, including SAP Cloud ERP projects.
Profile
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in AP and/or AR.
* Language skills: Dutch (native), English (good).
* Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (SAP is a plus).
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Communicative, constructive, and a true team player.
* Willingness to manage both AP and AR and take on new responsibilities.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
