As an
OT Security Medior Consultant
, you will support industrial and critical infrastructure clients in securing their Operational Technology (OT) environments. You will work
closely within a team of vetted senior OT Security consultants
, giving you a
true opportunity to deepen your knowledge, expand your experience, and grow into a senior role
.
In this position, you will combine your consultancy background with hands-on OT security expertise to assess risks, build security roadmaps, and help customers implement effective OT security strategies in real-world environments.
Key responsibilities
* Work as part of a
specialized OT Security team led by experienced senior consultants
* Be
partly responsible for OT security assessments
, including risk, gap, and maturity assessments
* Contribute to
OT security roadmaps
, translating assessment outcomes into actionable improvement plans
* Support and execute the
implementation of OT security strategies at customer environments
* Advise clients on OT security architectures, policies, and best practices
* Assist in designing and implementing security controls such as network segmentation, monitoring, and access management
* Align OT security solutions with standards and frameworks such as
IEC 62443, NIST, and ISO 27001
* Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
General Profile:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Automation, Electronics,
or
Computer Science (IT)
* Fluent in English; knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus
* Good written and verbal communication skills, able to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Analytical mindset with a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach
* Comfortable writing technical and non-technical documentation for diverse audiences
* Minimum 4 years of consultancy experience
, preferably in cybersecurity, IT, or infrastructure domains
* At least 2 years of proven OT security experience
* Solid understanding of OT/ICS environments (e.g. SCADA, PLCs, DCS, industrial networks)
* Experience working with industrial or critical infrastructure organizations
* Familiarity with OT security standards and regulations (IEC 62443 required; NIS2 is a plus)
Nice to have:
* Relevant certifications (e.g. GICSP, CISSP, CISM, IEC 62443 certifications)
* Experience with OT security tooling (asset discovery, network monitoring, anomaly detection)
* Knowledge of IT/OT convergence and industrial network security
* Experience in a
professional services or consulting environment
