Our client, a global specialist in automation solutions, is looking for a Software Engineer to join their logistics center. The role involves designing and developing advanced systems for the intralogistics, retail, and e-commerce segments.
* Design and develop applications using .NET Core and object-oriented programming.
* Perform technical analysis to create UML schematics, flowcharts, and interface specifications.
* Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum environment utilizing CI/CD processes.
* Define, write, and execute comprehensive test plans through simulation and integration testing.
* Execute on-site commissioning and system validation in coordination with engineering teams.
* Develop technical documentation and user guides for automation systems.
What are we looking for?
* You have a degree in Engineering, Applied Informatics, Electronics, or Computer Science.
* You bring experience in developing applications in Windows or Linux environments.
* You possess strong proficiency in C# .NET and object-oriented design.
* You're capable of translating functional designs into technical specifications and schematics.
* You are fluent in Dutch or French with a good professional command of English.
* You are willing to travel internationally for on-site commissioning in two-week intervals.
Nice to Haves
* Knowledge of SQL databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server.
* Experience with virtualization techniques including VMWare, Hyper-V, or Docker.
* Familiarity with industrial automation or logistics software.
