Sales Manager Belgium
At Tennium, we are looking for a driven and results-oriented Sales Manager to join our team in Belgium. Reporting directly to CCO of the company responsible for both sales and marketing in the organization. You will play a key role in securing and managing commercial partnerships for the European Open, one of the most prestigious tennis tournaments in Europe.
You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that maximise revenue and attendance. Your focus will be to lead and optimise the sales process — identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and coordinating with the Marketing and Ticketing teams to ensure strong commercial performance across all channels. A role for someone who combines strategic vision with commercial drive, focused on building partnerships that deliver impact and results.
ABOUT THE ROLE
* Ability to perform client prospecting, identify and generate new business
* Identify and generate new business opportunities, actively prospecting potential partners and monitoring market trends within the sports and sponsorship industry.
* Conduct benchmarking and market analysis to understand client needs and industry positioning.
* Lead sales negotiations and manage key relationships, both regionally and nationally, in coordination with the Commercial Partner.
* Represent Tennium at networking and sporting events, building strong connections with current and potential partners.
* Prepare and deliver tailored proposals, presentations and commercial documents that reflect the value of our tournaments and partnership opportunities.
* Work closely with the Legal team to review and discuss contract terms and commercial clauses.
* Plan and organise sales activities, ensuring structured pipelines, timely follow-ups and effective administration of leads and opportunities.
* Provide guidance and support to junior members of the Sales team, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
* Provide management and sales reports in a clear and timely manner.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field.
* 8+ years of experience in sponsorship sales, ideally complemented by experience in hospitality or corporate partnerships within the sports or events industry.
* Proven track record in client acquisition and relationship management, with the confidence to engage prospects and connect directly with decision-makers.
* Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* Fluent in English; knowledge of Flemish and French.
* Genuine passion for sports and live events.
* Availability to travel and flexibility to work non-traditional hours during tournaments.
