Job Title : IT Support EngineerLocation : Brussels, BelgiumJob Type : ContractProvide hands-on technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, handheld devices, access points, Wi-Fi devices, and mobile devices.Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and standard business applications.Respond to incidents and service requests logged via the IT service desk, ensuring timely resolution or escalation.Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including LAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN access.Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees, including hardware setup, user access, and data migration.Maintain accurate records of work performed using the organization's ITSM tool (ServiceNow) and update CMDB when required.Support audiovisual equipment for meetings and video conferencing.Liaise with hardware vendors for repair/replacement under warranty.Ensure compliance with IT security and asset management policies.Provide basic training to users on IT equipment and systems.Handle stock management.Competencies:Desktop Management – Infrastructure Services (IS)Essential Skills:Desktop, laptop, and peripheral device supportOS installation and maintenance (Windows, macOS, Linux)Network troubleshooting (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN)ServiceNow ITSM usageHardware and asset managementUser onboarding/offboardingVendor coordination and stock managementDesirable Skills:Basic audiovisual (AV) supportEnd-user IT training
