About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to support maintenance and repair activities in the nuclear sector.
This role involves organizing, preparing, and planning welding, piping, and equipment repair works. The successful candidate will also assist the maintenance section with continuous improvement initiatives and technical event analyses.
Main Responsibilities
* Organizing and preparing welding, piping, and equipment repair works
* Assisting the maintenance section with continuous improvement initiatives and technical event analyses
* FOLLOWING UP FIELD INTERVENTIONS INCLUDING IN CONFINED SPACES (TANKS, EXCHANGERS) AND CONTROLLED ZONES
* RESEARCHING AND ANALYZING TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION AND ARCHIVE RECORDS
* CHALLENGING FINDINGS AND DEFINING ACTIONS WITH RELEVANT TECHNICAL STAFF
The Ideal Candidate
You should be a mechanical, electromechanical or welding engineer with at least 2 years of experience in technical project coordination under strict quality assurance frameworks. Knowledge of construction codes and standards is essential, and familiarity with pressure and steam equipment regulations (Federal, Regional, ASME) is an added advantage.
You should be proactive, safety-oriented, collaborative, assertive, and have strong analytical and synthesis skills. Fluency in English and proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP are required.
