SUMMARY OF INTERNSHIP:
Support the kitchen team in daily operations by assisting with preparation, service, and cleaning tasks to ensure a smooth workflow and guest satisfaction.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preparation:
1. Assist with basic food preparation (washing, peeling, cutting, chopping)
2. Help set up ingredients and mise en place
3. Prepare simple items such as garnishes, salads, cold sauces, soups, starters, and desserts
During service:
4. Support chefs with preparations and follow instructions precisely
5. Assist with simple tasks or plating when required
After service:
6. Clear and clean workstations and equipment
7. Ensure proper storage and hygienic conservation of food items
8. Maintain overall cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
9. Follow all hygiene and safety standards
Additional Tasks:
10. Help receive, check and store deliveries according to the chef’s instructions
11. Perform other duties assigned by the kitchen team
SKILLS:
12. Basic understanding of kitchen operations
13. Good organizational skills and attention to detail
14. Ability to follow instructions and work methodically
15. Respect for hygiene and safety standards
16. Team spirit, reliability, and willingness to learn
17. Adaptability and openness to feedback
18. Physical stamina and ability to work in a fastu2011paced environment
19. Languages: French or English (both are a plus)
