Asset Management – Transition Manager (M/F/X)
For one of our clients, we are looking for an experienced Asset Management – Transition Manager to strengthen the ITAM team and support the efficient management of IT assets, as well as ongoing transition and optimization initiatives.
MissionAs a Transition Manager / IT Asset Manager, you will be responsible for the management and enrichment of the CMDB, license compliance, Shadow IT monitoring, and coordination of ITAM transition activities. You will play a key role in process improvement and in establishing a reliable governance framework around IT assets.
Main ResponsibilitiesAsset & CMDB ManagementManage, maintain, and update the CMDBEnrich data through Intune and NexthinkPerform regular cross-checks between inventories and monitoring toolsOversee the asset lifecycle and ensure data accuracy
Software Asset ManagementManage software licenses and related contractsMonitor and enforce software complianceDetect and manage underused softwareIdentify and prevent Shadow IT
Transition ManagementContribute to the analysis, design, and implementation of ITAM servicesCoordinate with ITSM, procurement, security, and infrastructure teamsSupport governance structuring and continuous improvement initiativesEnsure proper documentation, knowledge sharing, and process alignment
Skills & ProfileTechnical SkillsServiceNow expertiseKnowledge of Nexthink, Intune, and SNOWGood understanding of SAP order management processesProficiency with O365ITIL Foundation v4 certification
ExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience in ITAM, Transition, or IT OperationsSolid understanding of ITSM processes and Asset Management best practices
