For a logistics customer in Antwerp, I am searching for a freelance Enterprise Architect to guide and embed architectural practices across its organization as part of a digital innovation initiative. This role is critical in shaping a scalable, cross-functional digital ecosystem for current and future platform offerings. Responsibilities Establish and facilitate an operational Architecture Board (roles, cadence, “comply or explain” principle). Define and formalize architectural governance: principles, templates, and decision-making frameworks. Align siloed project teams around a shared architectural playbook and integration model. Coach internal teams through co-creation and hands-on delivery, fostering a culture of architectural thinking. Profile 10 years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture, with a proven track record in large, complex digital environments. 5 years Expertise in architecture governance, operating models, and setting up architecture boards in at least 3 large organisations required. Strong understanding of platform ecosystems, microservices, and integration architectures. Experience with maturity assessments, capability modeling, and transformation roadmaps. Background in coaching teams and building architectural capabilities in growing organizations (change management) Proven experience with Coaching Technical IT Teams.
