Job Summary
The post holder will be responsible for supporting delivery of accommodation within the DIO Accommodation European Support Group (ESG) team. ESG manages around 1600 properties across 16 countries in Europe and Turkey. Most properties are sourced from the private rental market. ESG delivers all accommodation services including allocating homes, distributing furniture, and managing service family accommodation moves. The postholder will report to the Assistant Head European Support Group but be expected to work autonomously ensuring outstanding delivery of infrastructure services, Across the 16 countries in ESG .

Job Description
A key requirement of the role will be close engagement with DIO Estates LMS, DIO Overseas and Training, the Military Chain of Command, local host nation staff and Industry Partners to ensure the service provided meets the requirements of NATO personnel, whilst being iaw policy and achieving best value for money.

There will be a requirement to travel regularly within all countries supported by ESG Headquarters in Belgium. Travel to other locations within the European Support Group will be necessary as required.

Person specification

Required Memberships: Full IWFM or APM or PMI membership.

Preferred Experience: Project Management and Accomodation experience

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring a safe and compliant estate to Host Nation and UK standards where practicable.

Staff Management of European Support Group Resources

* Provision of support to local in-country staff and management of LEC technical staff.
* Management of staffing issues in other locations in the absence of SEO colleagues.

Contract Management
Act as the Head of Establishment (HoE) for properties managed by the European Support Group

Asset Management for European Support Group

* Manage asset register including maintaining asset data on IMS across all ESG locations.
* Ensuring asset files and compliance records are maintained, including managing acquisitions and disposals in collaboration with Estates LMS.
* Ensuring asset grading inc CAAS assessment is completed iaw policies across all ESG locations.
* Coordinating and facilitating delivery of obligations iaw leases and MoU's.
* Development of option studies

General Tasks

* Act as Independent for Stage 2 complaints and grading challenges for areas across ESG.
* Support of Housing policy and process reviews
* Assure Government resources including assets & equipment allocated across the AoR.
* Responsibility for verifying and progressing new FM requirements.
* Progression of escalated issues.
* Any other duties required appropriate to the grade.
