Hamme On-site Job Description We are looking for a technically skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with a strong background in mechanical engineering and machine building. The ideal candidate combines hands-on design expertise with the ability to develop and review complex mechanical systems in an industrial environment. Core responsibilities and required expertise Strong background in mechanical engineering and machine building, with the ability to design, develop and optimize mechanical assemblies and automated systems. Proven experience with 3D mechanical design, including the creation of detailed machine concepts, assemblies and production drawings. Excellent working knowledge of SolidWorks for mechanical design and Teamcenter for product data management and documentation control. Ability to interpret, review and validate 2D technical drawings, including a solid understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles. Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering environments, collaborating with electrical, software and manufacturing teams. Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail, quality and manufacturability. Capable of independently managing technical tasks while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders and project teams.
