For a production site in Geel, we are looking for a Squad Lead Cleaning Validation & Cleaning Operations. In close collaboration with local process owners, you will be responsible for aligning all our existing cleaning validation and cleaning operations activities with current industry best practices, including the dimension of risk management. This role requires a minimum on-site presence of 80%.
Your Responsibilities
As Squad Lead, you will be the driving force behind optimizing our cleaning processes.
* You provide direction on the implementation of best practices and scientifically sound risk management approaches for cleaning validation and operations.
* You oversee various projects and manage the associated resources (contractors), applying diligent project management practices and controls to ensure delivery according to plan.
* You ensure the quality and compliance (with internal and external regulatory requirements) of project outputs and deliverables, working closely with the QA lead to ensure full alignment.
* You drive change management within the broader organization to ensure the sustainable adoption of best practices.
* You coach and mentor the Local Process Owners (LPOs) to elevate their knowledge to reflect industry best practices.
What You Bring
* In-depth knowledge and experience with equipment cleaning and cleaning validation in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, preferably in an API environment.
* Thorough understanding of FDA and EMA requirements for cleaning and cleaning validation, including practical experience with risk-based approaches and the creation of validation documents.
* Excellent project management skills, including organization, planning, and coordination.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience leading teams in complex/dynamic environments.
* Excellent command of English is required; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
