We're seeking an experienced Network Administrator for a European Institution, to support the operation, maintenance, and security of organisation’s network infrastructure. The role involves working closely with technical teams to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of network systems and communication services. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing network components, diagnosing and resolving network issues, and ensuring that the organisation’s network infrastructure meets performance, security, and service level agreement standards. Key Tasks Ensure the smooth operation of the network infrastructure, including telecommunication and computer network systems Operate and manage network components and services such as routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, and accelerators Investigate, diagnose, and resolve network problems to maintain service continuity and system reliability Ensure network performance, security, and recovery meet agreed service level standards Use network management and monitoring tools to analyse network load and performance statistics Continuously monitor network traffic to identify and resolve bottlenecks or performance issues Install, configure, and upgrade network components and monitoring solutions Perform testing and validation of network upgrades before deployment Support the implementation of network security solutions, including VPNs and encryption technologies Mandatory Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field Minimum 7 years of professional experience in network administration or network infrastructure management Strong expertise with Palo Alto and F5 technologies Solid experience working with Cisco networking environments Strong knowledge of network architecture and protocols, including WAN, LAN/WLAN, and VLAN Knowledge in network security, VPN implementation and cypher techniques Experience operating network devices and services, such as routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, and crypto communication devices Experience with network monitoring and management tools English language proficiency at minimum C1 level Technical Certifications (at least one required) CCDP/CCNP, CCNA, CCDE/CCIE, CCAr or relevant certifications of F5, Juniper, Palo Alto; BIG-IP certified administrator BIG-IP LTM Specialist: Maintain and Troubleshoot BIG-IP LTM Specialist: Architect, Set up, Deploy SANS certification related to Network Security What we offer Hybrid working model Opportunity to work in an international and multicultural environment Continuous learning, professional growth, and career development Exposure to modern IT tools and digital transformation initiatives A dynamic and collaborative work environment Location Brussels, Belgium (hybrid working model) Who We Are UpcoMinds is a dynamic IT company with 28 years of experience that provides end-to-end web and mobile solutions helping businesses to reinvent themselves in the digital world.
