As a seasoned IT Infrastructure Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering diverse portfolios of technical infrastructure projects. In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with project stakeholders, cross-functional teams, vendors, and other IT departments to ensure successful project outcomes that meet scope, budget, timeline, and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Vision and Planning
: Define and document project vision, goals, scope, and deliverables aligned with business needs. Comprehensive Project Plans
: Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans covering all phases—from initiation to closure. Resource Allocation
: Estimate and allocate resources (staff, equipment, software, budget) to support project execution. Vendor Management
: Manage vendor relationships and procurement processes where applicable. Progress Tracking
: Track project progress, performance, and quality against defined KPIs. Status Updates
: Provide regular updates on milestones, risks, and issues to sponsors and stakeholders. Challenge Resolution
: Proactively identify and resolve project challenges, conflicts, and changes. Critical Issue Escalation
: Escalate critical issues when necessary to ensure timely resolution. Deliverable Quality
: Ensure deliverables meet agreed standards and comply with internal policies and best practices. Post-Project Reviews
: Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions. Documentation
: Document achievements, challenges, and improvement opportunities. Culture Development
: Foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement. Fellow Team Member Coaching
: Coach fellow IT team members in applying a project mentality in the delivery of assigned projects. Required Skills and Qualifications:
Mastery of IT Concepts
: Master-level thinking ability, ideally with a background in Computer Science, IT, Economics, Business, or a related field. IT Infrastructure Experience
: Minimum of 5 years in IT Infrastructure including network projects management, preferably in an international environment. Project Management Expertise
: Proven track record managing both infrastructure and application projects across the full lifecycle. Leveraging Leadership
