Marketing Manager - KOMONO

As our Marketing Manager, you’re not here to simply ‘run campaigns’. You’re here to shape our next era. Your mission? Evolve KOMONO from an accessible luxury accessories label into a movement that genuinely resonates with the next generation. Not through massive media budgets, but through sharp storytelling, cultural relevance and community-driven marketing. Ready to build a brand people feel instead of just follow?


What does your role look like?

You become the link between KOMONO’s creative universe and the real world. Anton (our CEO) sets the creative direction. You turn it into campaigns that land, grow and stick. You build a community that doesn’t follow us out of habit, but because they genuinely feel connected to what KOMONO stands for. Every post, drop and story carries that mix of attitude, emotion and identity that makes people say: ‘This is so us.’

Behind the scenes, you bring structure and momentum. You lead a team of four direct reports and collaborate closely with an additional four shared team members across design, brand and content. You manage a €300K external budget, keep timelines tight and guide your team with clarity and confidence. Monthly KPI reviews and quarterly reports help you steer the ship, impact matters more than spreadsheets: retailer activation, community growth, cultural relevance.

At the same time, you design and execute the global marketing strategy. You support 1500 global B2B accounts (fashion retailers/optical stores) with impactful instore and digital assets they love to use, not just receive. You activate seasonal drops, spark FOMO moments, and align B2C and B2B. You ensure social, webshop, retail and PR all speak the same language. Strategy and execution flow together, and you enjoy switching between both.

Content is your playground. You co-create campaign ideas, approve visuals, guard brand consistency and collaborate with creators, stylists and PR partners. Fast decisions, fast iterations, fast learning. You make KOMONO feel alive. Bold, witty, and impossible to ignore.

What do you bring?

* Around five to ten years of marketing experience, with a proven ability to build organic, experience-driven communities.
* A content-first mindset, hands-on, energetic, and multichannel – from B2C (socials, stores) to B2B (retailer activation).
* Strong operational focus. You manage timelines, budgets and team performance with precision.
* You are experimental and not afraid to make mistakes. Understanding cultural relevance in fashion communities is no problem for you.
* Your leadership style is motivating. You set KPIs, give direction and leave room for creativity. Lastly, you thrive in a dynamic environment where targets are ambitious, budgets are tight, and the pace is high.


Think you’ve got what it takes?

You will then meet Anton Janssens (CEO) to assess the suitability and fit with the organization. You may have follow-up discussions with other members of the management team and shareholders.
