Job description:
We are looking for a hands-on AI Engineer with strong expertise in AIOps/MLOps and agentic
development. In this role, you will build production-ready AI solutions that are scalable, secure, and compliant, and you will take the technical lead on agent architectures.
Key responsibilities
AIOps/MLOps
Coach Data Scientists to move models from experiment to production-grade (packaging,
reproducibility, CI/CD).
Design and build data and inference pipelines.
Implement MLOps best practices (containers, model registry, experiment tracking, rollback).
Set up observability (logs, metrics, traces, drift, SLOs).
Work according to compliance-by-design together with security, risk & compliance (EU AI Act).
Agentic development
Technical lead for agentic solutions (Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio).
Integrations with internal systems via function calling, RAG, orchestration.
Set up evaluation frameworks (test suites, red teaming, versioning).
Implement orchestration patterns (planning, retries, fallbacks).
Ensure selective autonomy and human-in-the-loop.
Engineering & Collaboration
Work in an agile team; manage the technical backlog.
Create technical documentation and runbooks.
Collaborate with partners; challenge designs; ensure integration into the target architecture.
Profile
Hands‑on AI/MLOps engineer with strong Python skills and experience
production‑grade AI.
Combines deep engineering expertise with innovation and coaching.
Agentic development and orchestration.
Pragmatic, takes ownership, results driven.
Deep knowledge of AIOps/MLOps tooling: Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Docker, IaC
(Terraform).
Knowledge of Azure ML, Azure OpenAI/AI Foundry, Azure AI Search.
Understanding of principles of security & governance (RBAC, secrets, network
segmentation, privacy).
Fluent Dutch & English.
Required experience
Master’s degree in CS/AI/Engineering or equivalent experience.
3–5+ years of experience as an AI/ML/MLOps engineer.
Experience with agentic frameworks, function calling, RAG. \
Languages:
Dutch & English is mandatory

AZ-900 - Azure fundamentals
AZ-204 - Azure Developer Associate
DP-700 - Fabric Data Engineer Associate
PL-300 - Power BI Data Analyst Associate
ISTQB CTFL Certified Tester Foundation level
