As a
Global Consumer & Sensory Science Expert
, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our beverages and food products. You will translate complex
consumer insights
into concrete product improvements and innovations that resonate across six different geographical zones.
You will leverage your expertise in
quality and food technology
to:
* Establish and execute
global learning plans
.
* Define the right methodologies and
product testing protocols
.
* Translate consumer needs into
technical briefs
for successful product renovations and innovations.
* Develop and execute research plans (qualitative & quantitative research related to product testing, claims testing, testing of MVPs, prototype trials, and concept refinement).
* Brief and manage external research agencies, and coordinate internal teams (including data scientists) for data analysis, reporting, and debriefing. You will translate results into
insights and simple recommendations
.
* Lead competitive intelligence programs related to the top 12 markets. You will track the
competitive performance
of our products and portfolios versus the competition.
* Validate the category expansion strategy and the taste segment in each market, and identify new opportunities.
* Consolidate insights and patterns, and share knowledge to maximize synergies and speed in the replication of innovation and strategic projects.
* Manage trainees and relationships with partner agencies.
* Guide and train Zone S&CS specialists regarding S&CS-Toolkits & Data Collection programs.
* Maintain and develop an external network related to Sensory, Physiology, Nutrition, Psychology, Behavior, Semiotics, Applied Data Science, Design of Experiments, and Consumer Science.
Job Requirements
* Master's or PhD degree in
Consumer Behavior/Psychology/Food Sciences/Physiology/Nutrition/Applied Statistics or Data Science
.
* Minimum of
5-7 years of experience
in the field of Sensory & Consumer Science or Consumer Research.
* Fluent in English
(written/spoken), other languages are a strong asset.
* Proficiency with data collection and analysis software such as:
Eye questions, Fizz or Comp sense, Xlstats
is a plus.
* Excellent
organizational and planning skills
with a pragmatic mindset.
* The ability to streamline communication, tell a story based on results, keep things simple, develop options and recommendations for the team, taking into account cost/time/quality.
