We are looking for a SAP BTP Product Owner to join a dynamic, forward-thinking team within a leading multinational in the aviation sector. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and ongoing evolution of the SAP Business Technology Platform, managing a focused team of 4-6 experts.
You’ll collaborate closely with both business and technical stakeholders to ensure the platform not only meets today’s demands but is also future-ready.
Key Responsibilities:
* Define and execute the strategic roadmap for SAP BTP, focusing on scalability, innovation, and business alignment across areas like app development, automation, integration, data analytics, and AI.
* Manage platform architecture, access control, and governance to support projects and ongoing operations.
* Lead projects including migration to API-driven integrations, data platform transitions, and automation initiatives.
* Guide and mentor a technical team, setting priorities aligned with platform strategy.
* Serve as the main contact for BTP-related topics, translating business needs into technical solutions.
* Establish governance policies ensuring security, performance, and compliance with standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
* Continuously improve the platform by monitoring performance and adopting new SAP BTP features.
Requirements:
* Strong expertise in SAP BTP suites (Extension, Integration, Data & Analytics, Security).
* Experience with cloud-native app development, microservices, SAP CPI, and API management.
* Proven track record leading SAP projects and working with agile methodologies.
* Experience in platform governance and team leadership.
* Degree in IT or related field; SAP BTP certifications preferred.
* 5+ years in SAP environments, with BTP-focused experience.
* Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
