SII Belgium is seeking a motivated and experienced Coordinator in civil works with a background in coax and fiber to strengthen our team for one of our strategic clients.
In this role, you will play a central role in the Limburg region for a leading Belgian telecom operator. You will be responsible for the design of the coax network and related infrastructure in your region. The design team keeps you up to date with the latest technologies and developments within the fixed network, enabling you to work efficiently. You will deliver completed designs to your colleagues in the field, who will execute the projects based on your work.

Responsibilities:
Strengthen your analyses through project-related coordination meetings and site visits
Combine remote work, office work, and fieldwork
Use graphical tools to build your high-level designs
Monitor priorities within your project portfolio
Coordinate all design tasks within your portfolio, acting as a central point of contact in the region
Actively align with fiber engineers, site coordinators, engineering firms, and utility companies on network impact
Maintain regular contact with low-level design engineers who detail your designs
Validate delivered detailed designs to ensure readiness for execution
Apply small design changes yourself when needed
Discuss each project with the site coordinator responsible for execution
Build strong relationships and a broad network of trusted partners by thinking proactively
Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent through experience
Strong communication skills; able to align with internal and external stakeholders
Knowledge of the utilities sector and public domain infrastructure works is a strong plus
Technical knowledge of coaxial networks and FTTH networks is a strong plus
Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances and projects
Resident in the Limburg region (Genk/Hasselt)
Driving license B
Dutch is required
