We are a growing international company looking for a hands‑on Operations Coordinator to be based in Brasília. This is a broad, practical role — you will be the person who keeps things moving: managing imports and exports, sourcing and purchasing materials, arranging shipments, and supporting the production floor team.
We are not looking for someone from a specific industry. We are looking for someone smart, organised, and reliable — someone who picks things up quickly and takes ownership of their responsibilities. Fluent English is essential, as we operate in an international environment.
This role is based in Brasília initially, with a move to São Paulo planned in the coming months. Candidates already based in São Paulo who are willing to relocate to Brasília temporarily are very welcome to apply.
What You Will Do
Imports & Exports
* Handle all import and export administration from start to finish.
* Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies.
* Prepare and manage shipping and trade documentation.
* Track shipments and resolve any issues that arise.
Purchasing & Sourcing
* Source materials and components from local and international suppliers.
* Obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and place purchase orders.
* Build good working relationships with suppliers.
* Keep an eye on costs without sacrificing quality.
Logistics & Stock
* Coordinate domestic and international shipments.
* Manage stock levels and ensure materials are available when needed.
* Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to management.
* Work alongside the floor supervisor to support the production team.
* Help manage the day‑to‑day coordination of floor staff.
* Identify and resolve operational issues quickly and calmly.
What We Are Looking For
* Fluent English — spoken and written.
* Organised, detail‑oriented, and reliable.
* Comfortable with computers and standard business software.
* A quick learner who is not afraid to take initiative.
* Calm under pressure and able to juggle multiple tasks.
* Willing to be based in Brasília (temporarily or longer‑term).
Advantageous (but not required)
* Experience in operations, logistics, procurement, or import/export.
* Familiarity with Brazilian customs procedures.
* Experience working in an international business environment.
What We Offer
* A varied, hands‑on role with real responsibility from day one.
* A friendly, international team environment.
* The opportunity to grow with the business.
* Competitive salary, commensurate with experience.
