Job Description:
AIV Engineer is responsible for the Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT) of space instruments. Key tasks include defining and maintaining test and assembly procedures, developing tools for space projects, and ensuring that test instruments and facilities meet project requirements.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain test and assembly procedures
* Create tools for space projects
* Ensure test instruments and facilities meet project requirements
* Participate in test campaigns
* Support quality reviews and perform Root Cause Analysis
* Document and report progress to stakeholders
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a related technical field
* Minimum 5 years of proven work experience specifically in AIV (Assembly, Integration, and Verification)
* Authorized to work in Belgium
* Hands-on experience with cleanroom procedures and high-precision assembly
* Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving
* Familiarity with quality standards and documentation practices
* A proactive team player with excellent communication skills
* Fluent in English
