IC Medical Project Manager
Location: Brussels
Engagement: Freelance - October 2026 until December 2028
Overview
We are partnered with a global pharmaceutical organisation seeking an IC Medical Project Manager to join their team based in Brussels, Belgium. This role operates across Immunology and Rare Disease / Epilepsy within the IC region, acting as a central connector across regional and global medical teams. You will play a key role in driving medical excellence, ensuring alignment on insights and performance, and supporting capability development across countries.
Requirements
- Support the coordination and delivery of medical initiatives across the IC region
- Collaborate closely with regional medical leads and global stakeholders to align on insights and priorities
- Drive consistency in medical performance tracking and KPI alignment across countries
- Facilitate medical insights processes, including coordination of recurring committees
- Support onboarding and ongoing capability development for medical teams in collaboration with global functions
- Coordinate logistics for cross-country congresses, expert engagements and key medical events
- Manage and maintain internal collaboration platforms (e.g. SharePoint, Teams) to ensure accessibility and organisation of key resources
Hard Skills
- Foundational experience in project management within a pharmaceutical or life sciences environment
- Understanding of medical affairs operations and cross-functional collaboration
- Experience working with performance tracking tools and digital engagement platforms (e.g. Qliksense, ORBIT)
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across regions and functions
- Strong organisational skills with experience coordinating events or programmes
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix, cross-functional environment
- Confident facilitator with good presentation skills
- Proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
- 1–2 years’ experience in project management (ideally within pharma or life sciences)
