Junior Quality Assurance Engineer (M/F/X)

The Quality Assurance Engineer will support in the daily QA activities of the production site of Henkel Belgium Operations (Drogenbos). The site produces mainly pressure-sensitive adhesive technology ("Loctite") for the Industrial, Medical & Pharma markets.
What You’ll Do
* Support product quality complaints, out-of-spec batches, leading investigation and follow up of implementation plan and corrective actions for the plant of Drogenbos.
* Lead product and quality review accordingly.
* Support the site quality systems by developing and implementing local procedures and measuring quality performance for the plant of Drogenbos (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 50001, ISCC Plus and GMP Excipact).
* Support process, test method and product validation (design the validation protocol, execute the data analysis and follow up with the production department).
* Manage raw material quality supplier complaints, leading investigation and follow up with the supplier for improvements.
* Participate in site continuous improvement projects.
* Participate in the finish good products release process (pharmaceutical excipient adhesive).
* Participate in the site internal audit program and support during external customer audits.
* Provide leadership in the implementation of Quality and Hygiene (GMP inspections, 5S program) for the plant of Drogenbos.
* Provide quality training on site.
What makes you a good fit
* Master’s in chemistry, engineering or comparable is required.
* Previous experience in a similar position (1‑3 years or more) in a manufacturing environment linked to Quality / ISO 9001 / Good manufacturing practice (GMP/GDP) is an asset.
* Fluency in French and English (spoken and written) is mandatory; intermediate level in Dutch is an asset.
* Additional knowledge of or familiarity with SAP, Lotus Notes, Minitab is an asset.
* Enthusiastic team player with excellent interpersonal skills that can work smoothly across departments.
* Strong sense of organization and planning, able to work well in a team and with a problem‑solving mindset.
* Curiosity, autonomy, flexibility and initiative.
* Root cause analysis skills (A3, 5 Why, DMAC) & corrective actions reports (8D).
* Experience in audit practice is a plus.
