As a Digital Journey Manager at Telenet, you will be part of the Digital Marketing department, working on digital journey efforts for the residential customers, self-employed, and small business markets. The Digital Marketing department is responsible for defining and implementing Telenet’s entire digital commercial strategy and roadmap. With Telenet’s clear strategic goal of becoming a digitally oriented company, you will contribute to this transformation.
As a Digital Journey Manager, you will work on digital journey strategies and ensure their successful execution. You will combine marketing, customer experience, and data analysis skills to drive awareness, conversion, and retention.
Your responsibilities as a Digital Journey Manager
1. Improve the online experience by optimizing customer journeys from initial contact to purchase and beyond.
2. Make the journeys insightful through functional journey maps and use a reverse funnel approach to achieve your commercial goals.
3. Identify improvements by formulating hypotheses for A/B tests and interpreting the results.
4. Possess thorough expertise in digital marketing, with knowledge of digital analytics, advertising, SEO, content marketing, email marketing, and CRO. You know which digital channels and tactics to use for journey optimizations.
5. Set up performance reporting and continuously monitor what works and what doesn’t.
6. Be a true team player, working constructively with other teams and digital experts. Involve them in the digital journey strategy and brief them so they can contribute to the necessary optimizations.
7. Be highly performance-oriented: have a good overview of your business results, manage your budget and backlogs in the most efficient way.
Our ideal Digital Journey Manager
8. Several years of experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, and/or digital campaign management.
9. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and experts.
10. Strong analytical skills with a focus on achieving results.
11. Good knowledge of analytical tools (such as Looker Studio, Adobe Analytics, and Content Square), email marketing, segmentation tactics, SEO, content marketing, CRO, and digital campaign management.
12. Ability to navigate complex situations effortlessly.
13. Preferably a master’s degree in a relevant field or a postgraduate degree in digital marketing.
14. Fluent in Dutch and English.
