We’re looking for an HR Business Partner to join us in Leuven, supporting approximately 150 employees across Belgium, France, and the Netherlands. This role blends strategic partnership with hands-on HR delivery and offers room to grow into global projects as we expand. This is a Hybrid position, you will be required to work 4 days from the office. YOU WILL: Be a trusted partner Act as a trusted advisor to leaders across Belgium, France, and the Netherlands, driving the people agenda in alignment with business strategy. Support organizational design, workforce planning, and talent initiatives that enable growth and performance. Partner on leadership development, succession planning, and employee engagement strategies. Participate in and/or lead cross-border and global HR projects. Shape employee experience Manage all aspects of employee relations, ensuring consistent and fair application of policies. Lead engagement with the Works Council in Belgium, ensuring constructive dialogue and compliance with labor regulations. Stay current on employment law developments across Belgium, France, and the Netherlands, and provide proactive guidance. Deliver operational excellence Oversee HR administration processes, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of payroll in Belgium, France, and the Netherlands. Partner with local providers to ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Ensure employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, contracts, benefits, exits) are efficient and compliant. Take on new challenges that stretch your expertise and broaden your scope. YOU HAVE: 5 years of HR experience, including as a business partner with exposure to multiple European markets. Solid knowledge of Belgian labor law and works council processes; familiarity with French and Dutch regulations is a strong advantage. Experience running payroll and HR admin, ideally across more than one country. Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to influence at every level. A mix of strategic thinking and operational execution. Fluent English; Dutch and French is highly preferred. YOU ARE: Someone who thrives on both strategy and detail. You can shape a workforce plan in the morning and make sure payroll is accurate in the afternoon. Comfortable working across borders and cultures, with the flexibility to adapt your style to Belgium, France, and the Netherlands. Skilled at building trust quickly, whether it’s with a senior leader, a works council representative, or an employee with a question. Naturally curious about how the business works and motivated to connect people strategies to real results. A steady presence in times of change, you bring clarity, empathy, and sound judgment. Confident navigating complex employment regulations, but practical in how you apply them. Fluent in English and able to connect in Dutch and/or French, making communication feel effortless across teams.
