Senior software engineer

Your challenge As a Senior Software Engineer, you develop and improve OMP’s industry solution and enrich its functionality in a robust, innovative, and scalable way, applying your expertise to solve real-life industry challenges for our customers. You are responsible for: Translating functional requirements into detailed, industry-specific technical solution designs and algorithms, and refining them into clear technical specifications. Writing code that lives up to our high-quality standards, in adherence to scrum methodology and compliant with the most recent standards in your preferred technology. Discussing and validating functional requirements in close collaboration with our seasoned solution managers, solution analysts, and solution consultants. Reviewing code written by your team members. Collaborating closely with software and quality assurance test engineers, analysts, consultants, technical writers, and project managers. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams—including software and QA engineers, analysts, consultants, technical writers, and project managers—while maintaining and supporting developments based on user feedback. About you Essential talents and qualifications: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in ICT, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar, or equivalent by experience. 5 years of proven experience in programming language and SQL. A proven track record of delivering high-quality, maintainable software through clean code, testing, and code reviews. Powerful technical skills, a creative mindset and excellent algorithmic and conceptual thinking. The eagerness to learn and stay on the edge of technology. A passion for working in a multinational, customer-driven environment with a customer-centric attitude. Bonus points if you have: Experience in using software development best practices (e.g., design patterns, UML, Git, automated testing). Supply chain planning knowledge. Experience in developing multi-tier, asynchronous and distributed systems. Experience with Azure DevOps. Experience in C++, C#, Python, or PowerShell.
