Our client is seeking a Senior Business Controller to support the CFO as a strategic finance partner.
This high-impact role blends financial leadership with cross-functional collaboration across manufacturing, commercial, and R&D teams.
Responsibilities
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
* Partner with department heads to support decision-making
* Analyze variances and assess financial impact
* Develop KPIs and dashboards for internal and external reporting
* Conduct scenario analysis and ROI evaluations
* Monitor margins and drive cost control by segment, client, and product
* Oversee cost allocation in line with accounting standards
* Support financial tracking of long-term projects
* Improve ERP systems and financial processes
* Mentor junior team members
* Align with accounting on monthly closings and reporting
Profile
* Master’s degree in Finance, Business Economics, or related field
* 5-7 years’ experience in controlling, FP&A, or financial planning, ideally in life sciences
* Strong skills in Excel, ERP, and BI tools
* Analytical, proactive, and detail-oriented
* Strong ethics and communication skills
* Fluent in English; French and/or Dutch is a plus
