Business Analyst – Payments
Our client, a financial institution based in Brussels, is seeking a Business Analyst to support initiatives within the payments domain. The role focuses on analysis, documentation, and implementation support for payment-related products and processes, including solutions delivered by Sopra Banking.
Responsibilities
* Gather and document business requirements related to payment products and processes.
* Translate business requirements into functional specifications for IT teams.
* Analyse current payment flows, systems, and integrations.
* Support implementation and configuration of Sopra Banking payment products.
* Facilitate workshops with business and IT stakeholders.
* Prepare process documentation, use cases, and data mappings.
* Support testing activities, including test case preparation and execution.
* Coordinate defect tracking and resolution with development teams.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements within the payments scope.
* Support go-live preparation and post-implementation follow-up.
Profile
* Experience as a Business Analyst within the banking sector.
* Experience in payments, including SEPA, instant payments, or card payments.
* Experience working with Sopra Banking products.
* Experience writing functional specifications and process documentation.
