Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented Computer Vision Engineer to join the growing R&D team. You will work on challenging projects involving classical computer vision and advanced image processing techniques. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who is passionate about solving complex technical problems and eager to work with cutting-edge vision systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and optimize computer vision algorithms for 2D and 3D image processing.
* Develop high-performance applications using C++ and OpenCV.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, hardware, and product) to integrate vision solutions into production systems.
* Conduct feasibility studies and research to enhance existing image processing pipelines.
* Debug, profile, and optimize software for robustness, efficiency, and scalability.
* Contribute to documentation, testing, and continuous improvement of software development processes.
Requirements:
* Master’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
* Proven experience with C++ development and OpenCV in a professional setting.
* Strong background in classical computer vision techniques, including feature extraction, object detection, image filtering, and 3D data processing.
* Familiarity with software engineering practices: version control (Git), testing, and debugging.
* Fluent in French and English (both written and spoken).
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Additional Information:
* Candidates must have the right to work in Belgium (no visa sponsorship available).
* Relocation within Belgium is welcomed and supported, but not mandatory if already based nearby.
