As Industrial Engineer Equipment Effectiveness you fulfill a key role in our Fab evolution while we are advancing our equipment automation and ramping up the production volume.
What you will do
* As a member of our Fab Automation & Applications team, you will closely work with Product Owners and Business Analysts for the MES and related software, including reporting systems.
* You will collaborate with Fab Operations and Fab Engineering to understand and analyze their current way of working, as well as agree upon new procedures to be implemented.
* Your primary task will be to design and deploy a more granular equipment state model and drive its application after introduction. Implementation of the model requires changes in the MES and reporting system; it also requires changes in how operating and maintaining diverse equipment is logged. Based on more granular equipment state reporting, we will introduce regular OEE reviews.
* You will team up with our Industrial Engineer Load & Go. "Load & Go" is currently being implemented as advanced equipment automation, reducing the dependency on specific knowledge how to operate the respective equipment – proper delivery will be sufficient, eventually by automated material handling.
* You will contribute to training and can rely on the existing training function in Fab Operations.

Who you are
* You have a master's degree in engineering, exact sciences, or equal by experience. You are eager to apply your analytical strength and have chosen your education and career accordingly.
* You bring 5 years or more of experience in a complex manufacturing environment, characterized by demanding processes, high product mix, delicate materials and reentrant process flows.
Prior experience in or knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing is a strong asset, preferably in a 300 mm Fab.
* You have strong communication skills. You can make people interested in what you have to offer, as well as being an engaged listener yourself to catch good suggestions.
* You bring experience with organizing tasks and overcoming obstacles, can work autonomously and take initiative.
* Since you will be working in a highly international environment and will be maintaining a good contact with colleagues and co-workers from all over the world, fluency in English is essential.
