Your role & work environment
As lead of the Business Banking Sales BE MT, you will be responsible for the execution of the Business Banking Sales Strategy in BE and the commercial success of the Guided and Relationship segment in Belgium. You will head the 4 regional directors and set guidance for commercial performance, as well as steer the direction of the Central Segment teams & Sector/Product leads (e.g sectors, ALF, M&A,…) towards the design and implementation of our Business proposition. The strategic direction is to be set jointly with the head of Easy Banking, in order to build one face in the market across the different segments & channels such as Digital – Remote – Face-2-Face.
The head of Business Banking Sales reports hierarchically to the Member of the Executive Committee for Business Banking Belgium – Saskia Bauters, and becomes part of the Business Banking MT.
Your key responsibilities
* Implementing omnichannel advice through steering of the Regional directors for customer segments in Guided & Relationship.
* Jointly with head of Easy Banking, manage transition to a digital proposition for Guided & Relationship.
* Take responsibility and assess properly risks in client credit files, by taking up a decider role in risk committee with B1 mandate.
* Together with the tribes, define the requirements to deliver on the four pillars of our customer promise: Client First, Fast & Reliable, Sustainable and Directional Growth
* Head the BB Sales management Team – Forum, and steer on commercial performance, NPS, financial results and increase client penetration. Be the ING ambassador towards key clients on events & gatherings, representing ING & Business Banking.
* People management: inspire and motivate the teams in order to realize the global strategy of the segmentand the yearly objectives. Sets business/financial and leadership objectives for the direct reports. Manage mobility, training & development, reward, succession planning for future senior leadership team.

Work Experience
* At least ten years working experience in leading (sales) professionals
* Demonstrable broad experience in sales and (in- and external) stakeholder management incl proven track record in client acquisition/management
* Experience in translating a strategy to commercial plans and initiatives
* Experience in initiating and implementing major changes
Skills
* Strong Leadership and Management skills

* Judgment and persuasiveness
* Deep verbal and written communication skills – in the 3 languages (NL, FR, ENG)
