🔍 Role Overview
As a Back-End Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain back-end applications and integration services. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and contribute to the overall software architecture.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain robust back-end applications and integration services
* Translate user stories and business requirements into high-quality technical solutions
* Work independently and collaboratively within an Agile/Scrum environment
* Contribute to API development, database integrations, and unit testing
* Apply best practices and design principles to ensure clean, maintainable code
🎯 Required Skills & Competencies
✔ Technical Skills
* Strong proficiency in .NET with C#
* Hands-on experience with ASP.NET
* Expertise in async/await, OOP, and SOLID principles
* Experience with ORM: Entity Framework or NHibernate
* Strong API development skills: REST or gRPC
* Experience using OpenAPI/Swagger
* Strong knowledge of relational databases (MSSQL/MySQL)
* Version control experience: Git or similar SCM tools
✔ Testing & Quality
* Experience with unit testing
* Familiarity with mocking frameworks (e.g., Moq, NSubstitute)
✔ Soft Skills
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
* Ability to work independently
* Collaborative mindset with Agile experience
* Proficiency in English (Dutch or French is a plus)
🎓 Educational Requirements
* A degree in a technical field OR
* At least 5 years of hands-on experience in back-end development and integration services
