Job description
As a Project Engineer - Water Structure, you will take the lead in designing and executing marine infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with clients, external partners, and internal teams to ensure optimal project outcomes.
Your Responsibilities
* Lead the execution and design of marine and water infrastructure projects.
* Coordinate with clients, contractors, and engineering partners during project development.
* Design and analyze infrastructure such as ports, locks, quay walls, jetties, flood control areas, dikes, breakwaters, and bridges.
* Ensure compliance with Belgian and European engineering standards.
* Perform technical modeling and optimization for construction methods.
* Act as a liaison between disciplines, ensuring an integrated design approach.
* Supervise and mentor junior engineers and CAD designers.
* Develop expertise in SCIA Engineer, DSheet Piling, Ansys, Plaxis, and other structural tools.
Your Profile
🎓 Master’s degree in Structural, Civil, or Marine Engineering.
📌 5+ years of experience in marine or civil infrastructure.
📚 Expertise in structural design codes and soil-structure interaction.
🛠️ Experience in reinforced concrete design for complex 3D structures.
📜 Knowledge of ISO, EC, NEN, EAU, SB250, SB260 standards.
⚖️ Experience in public contract management.
🚗 Willing to travel for short- and medium-term missions.
