SAP Project Manager – Supply Chain & Asset Management
Location: Leuven, Belgium (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)

Overview
An experienced SAP Project Manager is required to lead a strategic SAP transformation initiative focused on Supply Chain and Asset Management processes. This role is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery through effective planning, governance, stakeholder management, vendor coordination, change management, and operational handover.
The successful candidate will work closely with business and IT stakeholders, external vendors, and project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes in a complex enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Delivery
* Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, deliverables, dependencies, resource allocation, budgets, and risk management.
* Lead project execution from initiation through deployment and operational handover.
* Ensure delivery aligns with established project governance and quality standards.
* Monitor progress and proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
* Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders.
* Coordinate internal teams and external implementation partners.
* Build strong relationships across business and IT functions to ensure alignment and engagement.
* Facilitate project meetings, workshops, steering committees, and decision-making forums.
Governance & Reporting
* Establish and maintain effective project governance structures.
* Prepare and present status updates, risks, issues, budget information, and key decisions to senior stakeholders.
* Drive accountability and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
Change Management & Adoption
* Lead communication, training, and change management activities to support successful adoption of new SAP capabilities.
* Ensure business readiness before deployment and provide support during go-live activities.
* Coordinate post-implementation stabilization and continuous improvement activities.
Operational Handover
* Ensure knowledge transfer to support and operational teams.
* Drive a structured handover process prior to project closure.
* Confirm support models, documentation, and operational readiness are in place.
Required Experience
* Minimum 10 years of SAP Project Management experience.
* Proven track record delivering complex SAP transformation and implementation projects.
* Strong understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain processes including planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, delivery, finance, and master data.
* Experience managing SAP implementations within Supply Chain Management and/or Asset Management environments.
* Strong experience working with cross-functional business and IT stakeholders.
* Demonstrated success managing multiple vendors and delivery partners.
* Experience operating within large-scale, complex organisations.
Technical Knowledge
* Strong understanding of SAP Supply Chain solutions.
* Knowledge of SAP Asset Management / Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
* Familiarity with SAP integrations across:
* SAP EWM
* SAP MM
* Finance
* Logistics
* Experience with SAP S/4HANA programmes is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with Azure DevOps is advantageous.
* Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Power Platform solutions.
