The Auto/ DIY Brand Manager is ambassador for the company's branded approach in EMEA For those segments, supporting the leadership of the Senior Brand Manager and in coordination with Global Marketing. The role drives the regional brand strategy for auto/ DIY within a defined global structure, especially in those mark. The Brand Manager will coordinate the planning process, acting as the coordination hub across product, trade, and communications marketing. The role leverages on brand equity to lead business plans by segment and geography, defining the key differential initiatives and ensuring the brand is protected and strengthened, always globally aligned.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Brand Strategy & Positioning:
* Deep understanding of user needs and develop activities aligned to them for DIY and Auto
* Translate customer needs to product
* Coordination of relevant brand activities
* Safeguard brand consistency across all touchpoints: product, trade, comms, and digital.
* "Brand ambassador": Provide clear brand guidelines and facilitate brand and business planning.
Business Strategy Development
* In alignment with Sales, ensure activities are aligned with business cases that justify investment
* Work in coordination later with the functional areas of EMEA and Marketing.
* Ensure technical product understanding in order to lead over the Product Management function.
Cross-functional and Lateral Leadership:
* Work closely with Sales, Product Management, Trade Marketing, and Communications teams to drive brand relevance and impact.
* Relevant knowledge about the lateral functions in marketing in order to coordinate relevant activities
* Influence and inspire key stakeholders across markets.
* Act as a trusted advisor to local teams, enabling adaptation without diluting core brand identity.
* Coordination for Automotive and DIY with the Amazon functions.
Brand Performance & Insights
* Monitor and report on brand performance, equity, awareness, and relevance across the region.
* Provide insights and recommendations to refine strategies and ensure business growth.
* Benchmark against competitors and identify best practices across segments and markets.
* Pricing Analytics
Brand Alignment
* Understand and implement Global initiatives (such as Global Brand Identity) in the context of the region, ensuring integrity and value adding for the business for the brands managed.
* Ensure a relevant plan per key market. Ensure local activities are easily aligned with Global strategy.
* Monitor and report on brand performance across the region.
* Provide insights and recommendations to refine global strategies and ensure business growth.
EXPERIENCE
4+ years of brand marketing, ideally within branded business in industrial goods in B2B, or chemical/packaged goods industries. Technical product background and exposure to PLM/ Stage and Gate, Project Management.
