Job Description
As an Advanced Manufacturing Technology (AMT) Specialist focusing on vaccines and biologics at Capgemini Engineering, you will play a crucial role in helping pharmaceutical clients optimize their manufacturing processes and implement cutting-edge technologies. Your expertise in biopharmaceutical manufacturing will drive innovation and efficiency in vaccine production.
In this role you will play a key role in:
* Designing and implementing advanced manufacturing technology solutions specifically for vaccine and biologics production environments, ensuring compliance with GMP regulations and industry standards
* Conducting technical assessments of existing manufacturing processes and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability of vaccine production
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement automation strategies, digital twins, and process analytical technology (PAT) solutions for biopharmaceutical manufacturing
* Supporting technology transfer activities from R&D to commercial manufacturing, ensuring seamless scale-up of vaccine and biologics production processes
* Providing technical expertise on equipment selection, qualification, and validation for aseptic processing, cell culture, purification, and fill-finish operations
* Analyzing manufacturing data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance production yield and product quality
Your profile
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Bioengineering, Biochemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, or related technical field with 2-3 years of experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing
* Demonstrated knowledge of advanced manufacturing technologies applicable to vaccine and biologics production, including single-use systems, continuous manufacturing, and automated process control
* Experience with GMP regulations, quality systems, and validation requirements specific to biopharmaceutical manufacturing
* Familiarity with digital tools for manufacturing execution systems (MES), laboratory information management systems (LIMS), and process analytical technology (PAT)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical manufacturing solutions
* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working in cross-functional teams
