The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.
Responsibilities
* Set project timeline
* Monitor project deliverables
* Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress
* Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them
* Oversee all aspects of electrical projects from estimation and design to installation and handover
* Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to coordinate work schedules and project requirements
* Manage project budgets, variations, and financial reporting
* Ensure compliance with current electrical regulations (BS 7671), HSE legislation, and local authority requirements
* Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and health & safety compliance
* Identify and resolve issues to minimise delays and maximise efficiency
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
* Strong business acumen in project planning and management
* Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical project management or a similar role
* Strong knowledge of EU wiring regulations and health & safety standards
* Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
* Experience with project management tools/software (e.g. MS Project, SimPRO, or similar)
* ECS/CSCS card and SMSTS or SSSTS desirable
* Full UK driving licence required
