POSITION OVERVIEW
Fusion Architecture Urban is relaunching the recruitment of Senior Architects based in China, with strong expertise in the Construction Documents (CD) phase.
This position is dedicated to detailed architectural development, technical coordination, and high-level documentation, with a focus on LOD 300 and LOD 400 production.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in complex architectural detailing, strong BIM skills, and the ability to translate design intent into fully coordinated construction documents.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Construction Documents (CD Phase)
Develop and produce Construction Documents (CD) packages.
Translate design intent into precise and buildable technical drawings.
Produce architectural details at:
LOD 300 (design coordination level)
LOD 400 (execution and fabrication-ready level)
Prepare:
Detailed plans, sections, elevations
Wall sections and envelope details
Coordination drawings with structure and MEP
Ensure constructability, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements.
CD Phase Clarification
The Construction Documents (CD) phase involves highly detailed architectural design.
At this stage, all architectural elements are fully developed, coordinated, and detailed to allow construction, fabrication, and site execution.
BIM & Parametric Workflow
Work in a BIM environment using Revit.
Develop and manage detailed BIM models for CD delivery.
Use Rhino + Grasshopper for:
Complex geometries
Parametric architectural elements
Geometry rationalization for documentation
Ensure consistency between parametric models and BIM deliverables.
Technical Coordination
Coordinate architectural packages with:
Structural engineers
MEP consultants
Façade and envelope specialists
Participate in technical coordination meetings.
Support RFI responses and drawing revisions.
REQUIRED PROFILEEducation & Experience
Degree in Architecture.
Minimum 10 years of professional experience.
Strong background in Construction Documents (CD phase).
Proven experience in detailed architectural design and execution drawings.
Required Software Skills
Revit (BIM – advanced level) – mandatory
AutoCAD – mandatory
Rhino – advanced level
Grasshopper – strong proficiency for parametric workflows
Technical Expertise
Excellent understanding of:
Architectural detailing
Building envelope systems
Interfaces between architecture, structure, and MEP
Strong knowledge of:
LOD 300 and LOD 400 standards
Construction documentation workflows
Ability to deliver precise, coordinated, and buildable drawings.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
Technical English – mandatory
Chinese language is an advantage but not required.
