Job Description
The Tekla Designer SILO improves the efficiency and quality of draft work through training and development of CAD tools and drafting standards, in accordance with the group QHSE standards. He/She produces drawings in an efficient and qualitative manner to demonstrate the technical feasibility of an operation or to support the design of equipment, in accordance with the group QHSE standards within the proposed timeframe.
Tasks & Responsibilities
1. Studies and analyses drawings, sketches and/or other relevant information provided by internal stakeholders.
2. Reports missing information, issues and/or proposes other possible solutions to the internal stakeholder, in order to efficiently produce drawings.
3. Consults equipment documentation and measures equipment if required, in order to ensure the correct use and optimized configuration of the assigned equipment.
4. Produces project and equipment drawings using Tekla and AutoCAD while following the STOW drawing standards.
5. Converts equipment construction drawings into proper blocks for project drawings.
6. Liaises with other engineering team members in order to improve the quality, efficiency and correctness of the drawings.
7. Performs measurements and produces drawings on site, in mutual agreement.
Administration & Other
8. Ensures the project information and drawings are properly stored according to the engineering guidelines.
9. Follows the correct approval flow according to the engineering guidelines.
10. Registers the own working hours.
Training & Development
11. Shares technical knowledge with engineering team members.
12. Organizes and gives trainings.
13. Participates in trainings
14. Participates in the development of Tekla and AutoCAD
15. Maintains and improves relevant technical knowledge and skills.
Qualifications
Profile
16. You have a technical background
17. You have a strong knowledge of Tekla and AutoCAD
18. You are fluent in Dutch, English, French is a plus
19. You are a teamplayer and dynamic
20. You take initiative and you work in a structured and precise way
