What your future may hold
As a Senior Associate M&A, you will act as a strategic partner to clients and internal stakeholders in complex transactions.
* You provide full legal support on M&A matters (LOI, SPA, due diligence, restructuring, etc.);
* You draft and review various legal documents and contracts, such as shareholder’s agreements, sale & purchase agreements, merger proposals, …;
* You participate in negotiations and represent clients throughout the entire deal cycle;
* You take initiative in expanding and strengthening the firm’s M&A services;
* You collaborate closely with your colleagues of the legal team (both lawyers and legal consultants) and other experts in corporate finance, taxation and accountancy;
* You manage legacy clients and build your own network.
Your skillset
* Master of Laws degree, preferably with an additional master or specialisation in corporate law;
* Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in M&A; either as a lawyer or consultant, or in-house;
* Fluent in Dutch or French, with a solid command of the second national language. You are also strong in English, and you can handle client interactions in all three languages;
* You are hands-on, strategic and show maturity in your way of working;
* You thrive both independently and in a team setting;
* You combine legal excellence with pragmatic thinking and a no-nonsense, client-oriented attitude.
