Context of the Request and Nature of the Tasks
We are urgently seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP IBP Consultant to join our team for a large-scale S4/HANA implementation project in the Defence industry for a Belgian client. The project is currently in its realization phase, and the consultant will be involved for the entire duration, including the go-live, planned for 15 months from now. This position requires a senior consultant to contribute to the development and execution of integrated SAP IBP solutions for production planning and forecasting, supporting key business processes. This is a long-term assignment, with the consultant required to work full-time on-site in Liège.
Tasks and Responsibilities
* Lead the design and implementation of SAP IBP solutions to support production planning, inventory management, and demand forecasting.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, map processes, and ensure alignment of SAP IBP functionalities with business needs.
* Provide expert-level consultation on the setup and configuration of SAP IBP, ensuring integration with SAP S/4HANA.
* Support the migration and deployment of IBP solutions, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and client requirements.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical consultants, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure timely delivery and integration.
* Monitor project progress, identifying and resolving issues to keep implementation on track.
* Conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions for the client team to ensure successful adoption of the solution.
* Provide ongoing support and optimization of the IBP system post-implementation, including troubleshooting and fine-tuning.
* Document all aspects of the implementation process, ensuring transparency and clarity for all stakeholders.
Technical Skills
* SAP IBP Implementation: Proven experience in full-cycle implementation of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solutions (e.g., demand planning, inventory optimization, production planning).
* SAP S/4HANA Integration: Hands-on experience integrating IBP with SAP S/4HANA.
* Functional Knowledge: In-depth understanding of business processes in production, logistics, and supply chain management.
* SAP Best Practices: Strong knowledge of SAP best practices for production and supply chain processes, particularly in defense or large-scale industrial settings.
* Process Modeling: Expertise in mapping and modeling supply chain and production planning processes in SAP IBP.
* Configuration Skills: Proficiency in configuring SAP IBP applications to meet client-specific requirements.
