DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS /h3 pFollowing tasks will be performed by external service provider: /p ul liCoordination and review of policy units’ business needs; /li liDefinition of solutions proposed for servicing policy units’ business needs; /li liInteraction with the business analysts, customer, users, project leaders and the developers; /li liCarry out ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tasks; /li liCreating, designing and developing data models; /li liAnalyse large datasets and propose approaches for optimisation of reporting; /li liAssessment and quality control of data; /li liPreparation of statistical analysis of data for use by policy officers and other stakeholders; /li liManagement and processing of data; /li liReporting of key indicators for different policy fields on the basis of data sets available; /li liDevelopment and maintenance of interactive dashboards in Power BI; /li liAssistance with data management aspects of IT projects developed in DG GROW. /li /ul h32. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS /h3 pFollowing skills and knowledge are required for the performance of the above listed tasks: /p ul liVery good knowledge of reporting and statistics /li liAbility to provide ad hoc reports efficiently and fast /li liAbility to give business and technical presentations /li liAbility to apply high quality standards /li liAbility to cope with fast changing technologies used in reporting (currently focused on Power BI) /li liVery good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences /li liAnalysis and problem solving skills /li liCapability to write clear and structured technical documents /li liAbility to participate in technical meetings and good communication skills /li /ul h33. Specific Expertise /h3 pFollowing specific expertise is mandatory for the performance of tasks: /p ul liExcellent knowledge of Data Analytics techniques and tools. /li liGood knowledge of Power BI (including Power Query). /li liExperience with one or more of the following: ul liMachine Learning and Natural Language Processing. /li liLanguages like Visual Basic, SQL, …. /li liOther business intelligence tools (SAP Business Objects, QlikSense, SAS…). /li liETL processes and tools (i.e. Azure Data Factory…). /li /ul /li liKnowledge of SQL tooling (NoSQL DB, MongoDB, Hadoop, SQL). /li liKnowledge of architectural design and implementation of scalable modern data stores. /li liKnowledge in one of the following areas: ul lipredictive (forecasting, recommendation), /li liprescriptive (simulation), /li lisentiment analysis, /li litopic detection, /li lisocial media crawling and processing, /li litrends/anomalies detection in datasets, /li lirecommendation systems. /li /ul /li /ul h34. Certification and Standards /h3 h35.
