Automotive Data Engineer – English required – ALTEN Belgium
The Position
As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for an Automotive Data Engineer to join our teams and work on client projects located in Brussels.
As an Automotive Data Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:
* Support data-driven development and validation of new ADAS and Active Safety systems.
* Analyze and process evaluation data from vehicle CAN logs to extract KPIs and insights.
* Conduct statistical and time series analyses, and visualize results to support concept development and requirement setting.
* Benchmark competitors and monitor latest automotive technologies to support ADAS pre-development and system validation.
* Improve and automate existing data pipelines while ensuring accurate interpretation of collected vehicle data.
Your Profile
* Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
* 3+ years of experience in automotive data analysis or a related role
* Strong technical skills in: Python, Matlab, data processing, descriptive statistics, time series analysis, KPI extraction, and result visualization.
* Automotive knowledge, including ADAS systems and experience working with vehicle CAN logs.
* Languages: English fluent; French or Dutch is a plus.
