About the Role
SANDT is looking for a PHP Full Stack Developer Associate to support digital transformation initiatives within a public-sector environment. The mission contributes to the modernisation, security, and optimisation of business-critical applications.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to the development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of web applications across front-end and back-end layers.
* Work with technologies such as Angular, TypeScript, Java, PHP, REST APIs, and relational databases.
* Develop and maintain application components, web pages, services, and data interactions based on functional and technical requirements.
* Support corrective and evolutionary maintenance, including anomaly analysis, bug fixing, and application improvements.
* Collaborate with functional analysts, architects, UX/UI specialists, testers, project managers, and developers in an Agile team.
* Apply development standards, design systems, code quality practices, testing guidelines, and security principles.
* Document your work clearly, participate in code reviews, and share progress, blockers, and technical information with the team.
* Deliver high-quality outputs on assigned tasks, with strong attention to detail and structure.
* Actively learn, seek feedback, and continuously improve your delivery.
* Contribute to team delivery by reliably executing well-defined work modules.
Qualifications & Experience
Professional Experience
* At least 1 year of experience as a Full Stack Developer, PHP Developer, Java Developer, or similar role.
* A master's degree in a related field
* Experience developing or maintaining web applications.
* Experience working in Agile or multidisciplinary teams is an asset.
Technical Requirements
* PHP back-end development.
* Java back-end development using Spring or equivalent technologies.
* Angular and TypeScript front-end development.
* REST architectures and REST APIs.
* Relational databases, including MySQL and PostgreSQL.
* Git, GitLab, or similar versioning tools.
* Dependency management tools such as Maven, NPM, and Composer.
* Unit testing and software quality tools such as JUnit, Playwright, or equivalent.
* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or Kubernetes is an asset.
Soft Skills
* Trilingual proficiency: Dutch, French, and English
* Excellent communication and active listening skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
* Ability to simplify complex topics and create clarity
* Pragmatic, structured, and delivery-oriented mindset
* Comfortable navigating ambiguity and changing priorities
