1. You will assist in the development of the Centre for Research on the Third Sector (CeRTS) of the Red Cross Flanders.
2. You will develop ongoing research lines and create new ones, combining insights into a PhD, focusing on empirical research on the third sector.
3. You will closely monitor existing literature and collect data to build literature studies and databases.
4. You will maintain contacts with experts inside and outside the organization.
5. You will participate in conferences and training to expand your expertise and share insights from your research, publishing popular texts in order to build a good reputation of the centre.
6. You will represent CeRTS within and outside the organization and help promote the centre, its activities, and results.
7. You will report to the General Secretary and have monthly meetings with the CEO. Your daily supervisor will be the current CeRTS researcher.
Jouw profiel
8. You hold a master's degree with a statistical background (e.g., economics, engineering, statistics).
9. Ideally, this job is related to your research as a master's student.
10. You have strong analytical skills, resulting the ability to process information thoroughly
11. Interpreting statistical analyses is familiar to you. Practical knowledge and experience with statistical software (R, Python) are desirable, as well as the willingness to continuously improve this knowledge and experience.
12. You have strong communication skills (both oral and written), with advanced knowledge of English.
13. You have project management skills and are able to work both independent and in team.
14. Accuracy and order in your work are second nature to you. You are also strong in planning and organization.
15. You are sociable and capable of building and maintaining constructive internal and external professional relationships.
