About the roleAs part of our Finance team in the Belux region, we are looking for an Accounts Payable Accountant to support our Product & Solutions business unit. In this role, you will ensure the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments, while contributing to efficient and compliant financial operations. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and play an active role in the closing processes.Key responsibilitiesProcess, verify and post all incoming supplier invoices, including EDI and Peppol invoicesEnsure correct coding and accurate posting of invoices in the accounting systemManage daily bank transactions and prepare supplier payment runsMonitor, analyze and follow up on outstanding invoices and discrepanciesSupport monthly, quarterly and year-end closing activities, including booking of accounting entriesPrepare and perform balance sheet reconciliations related to suppliers and project accountsAssist with intercompany transactions, billing and reconciliations in collaboration with senior accountantsSupport the preparation of VAT declarationsActively contribute to process optimization and digitalization initiatives within Accounts PayableYour profileBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent by experienceFirst experience in an Accounts Payable or accounting environment, through an internship or a first roleGood knowledge of Dutch and/or French, with a working knowledge of the other languageStrong attention to detail and accuracyReliable, well-organized and able to meet deadlinesGood communication skills and team spiritEager to learn and adaptable in a changing environmentComfortable working independentlyTechnical skillsGood knowledge of ExcelExperience with ERP systems (such as SAP) is an assetKnowledge of banking tools (e.G.
