For our civil projects in Wallonia, Liège region, we are looking for an experienced Project Cost Controller to take responsibility for the financial management and monitoring of our construction sites.
Your Role
As a Project Cost Controller, you are responsible for the analytical cost monitoring, budget control, and financial reporting of our civil and environmental projects. You act as the financial partner of the project team, ensuring that projects stay within the set objectives.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
* You monitor the financial progress of the assigned projects and prepare periodic reports and forecasts.
* You analyze costs and revenues and produce results reporting for both operational and financial management.
* You ensure the accuracy of the figures and take proactive corrective action when necessary.
* You report in a structured and objective manner to management and support strategic decision-making.
* You work closely with project managers and site managers, providing them with insight into the financial results and risks.
* You contribute to the further optimization of our controlling processes and share your expertise with colleagues within the finance team.
You will be based on our construction sites in Wallonia (Liège region) and can expect an attractive salary package with additional benefits.
What do you need:
You hold a master's or bachelor's degree in an economic discipline, such as Applied Economics, Business Engineering, Business Administration, or Accountancy. You have at least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in controlling, financial analysis, or project accounting, preferably in a technical or construction environment. Experience in the civil or infrastructure sector is a strong plus. You are analytically strong, precise, and have a good understanding of cost structures and budget management. You communicate clearly and in a structured manner with both financial and non-financial colleagues. You are proactive, able to work independently, but also function very well within a project team. Fluent Dutch and French are required; knowledge of English is an asset. You must be willing to spend regular periods on our sites in Wallonia, Liège region.
