Data Engineer

We are working with a fast-growing data consultancy focused on delivering data analytics and AI-driven solutions across Flanders and Brussels. As a Data Engineer, you will support both new and existing clients in designing, building, and optimizing data platforms, AI applications, and reporting environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms and data pipelines
* Develop and optimize ETL processes and data models
* Implement AI-driven applications and reporting solutions
* Work with Azure technologies such as Databricks, Synapse, Fabric, and Azure Functions
* Ensure data quality, performance optimization, and clear documentation
Requirements
* 3 Years Experience in Data engineering or a relevant field
* Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases
* Hands-on experience with Python (e.g., Pandas, Polars, DuckDB)
* Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
* Solid understanding of ETL processes and data modelling principles
* Experience with Azure DevOps, Databricks, Synapse and CI/CD practices
Additional Information
* Location: projects across Flanders and Brussels
* Up to €4000 per month and benefits package including company car, insurances and €1000 innovation budget
* Hybrid working - 3 days onsite
* Exposure to innovative data and AI projects
* Languages: Dutch and English (fluent)
