We're looking for a hands‑on Delivery / Operations Manager with a strong electrotechnical background to lead our project execution and scale our delivery operations as we grow.
nanoGrid is growing fast. We design, install, and operate smart energy monitoring systems across Europe. Our pipeline is strong. Our biggest challenge right now is execution at scale.
We are looking for a Delivery / Operations Manager with a strong electrotechnical background to take ownership of how we deliver projects, from planning to commissioning.
Someone who builds structure, improves processes, and works closely with the team every day.
Important: This is NOT a COO role
This is not a corporate leadership position focused on high‑level strategy. This is a hands‑on execution role.
You will be:

Actively involved in planning, prioritisation and problem‑solving
We are looking for someone who builds and improves operations from within, not someone who manages from a distance.
Your Role
You are responsible for making project delivery predictable, scalable, and technically robust.

You ensure what we sell gets delivered on time, on quality, and without chaos.
Key Responsibilities
1. Own delivery performance
Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope
Monitor risks, bottlenecks and execution quality
Take ownership of delivery outcomes
2. Lead project execution team (hands‑on)
Manage and coach project engineers
Be actively involved in project follow‑up
Support and challenge the team where needed
3. Structure and scale operations
Define and improve delivery workflows
Implement planning, prioritisation and resource management
Standardise tools and processes
Identify and remove bottlenecks
Reduce lead times and improve throughput
5. Integrate AI in operations
Apply AI tools in planning, reporting and workflows
Improve decision‑making through data and AI
6. Collaborate with Technical Back Office
Ensure strong technical execution
Align engineering, installation and commissioning
Your Profile
Must‑have
Strong background in electrical engineering (degree or equivalent field experience)
Proven experience in project delivery or operations management
Comfortable working hands‑on in a technical environment
Experienced in leading and coaching technical teams
Mindset (crucial)
You like being close to the work, not above it
You are hands‑on, pragmatic, and structured
You fix problems rather than escape them
You bring clarity where there is complexity
You are comfortable in a scale‑up environment where not everything is defined yet
Experience with AI tools applied to operations, planning, or reporting
Background in energy, construction, or infrastructure projects
