We’re looking for a skilled Freelance Automation Engineer to support exciting automotive projects involving conveyor system programming using Siemens TIA Portal and S7 PLCs. Key Responsibilities:
* Program, test, and optimize automotive conveyor control systems using Siemens TIA Portal and S7 PLCs.
* Integrate PLC programs with existing conveyor hardware and automation components.
* Perform troubleshooting, commissioning, and system debugging during project phases.
* Collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams to ensure seamless integration across all systems.
* Prepare technical documentation for system design, programming logic, and commissioning reports.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in industrial automation with a focus on automotive conveyor systems.
* Strong knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal and S7 PLC programming.
* Ability to interpret electrical schematics, system layouts, and automation workflows.
* Hands-on experience with on-site commissioning and testing of automation systems.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on freelance contracts.
Nice to Have:
* Experience with HMI development and SCADA systems.
* Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., PROFINET, PROFIBUS).
* Previous work with robotics integration in automotive production lines.
